Conditions for Site Use

This website is published by Moxbejellytornad Heritage Publishing Ltd, company number 15740986, with its registered office at 22 Broad Street, Worcester WR1 3NH, United Kingdom. Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected].

Editorial purpose

The site offers general, independent information about historic residential buildings and contemporary interiors. It does not provide architectural appointments, engineering services, building surveys, legal advice, consent decisions or project-specific specifications. Reading an article or contacting us does not create a professional adviser–client relationship.

Buildings differ in construction, significance, condition, designation and legal context. Do not begin work, disturb suspected hazardous material or rely on a generic detail without suitable assessment. Consult appropriately qualified professionals and the relevant authority. Examples from England or elsewhere should not be assumed to describe requirements in your jurisdiction.

Accuracy and availability

We aim to present clear and useful information, but sources, guidance and legislation can change. We do not promise that every page is exhaustive, current or suitable for a particular project. Tell us about a suspected error through the Contact page. Access may be interrupted for maintenance or other reasons.

The enquiry tool

The contact worksheet creates text locally. It does not submit a message, book a service or request project approval. Review generated text before copying, downloading or sending it. You remain responsible for deciding what information to share and for keeping downloaded files and clipboard content secure on your device.

Reasonable use

Do not attempt to compromise the site, introduce malicious code, interfere with access or use contact details for unlawful or abusive communications. Do not send confidential information belonging to another person without permission or another appropriate legal basis.

Content and permissions

Unless otherwise stated, original site text and design are protected by intellectual-property law. You may read, print and save material for personal, non-commercial reference, subject to applicable law. Attribution and links to the relevant page are encouraged. Republishing substantial material or using assets beyond applicable legal exceptions requires permission from the relevant rights holder.

Third-party names, standards and linked publications remain the property of their respective owners. A reference does not imply affiliation, endorsement or permission to reproduce a source. Photographs illustrate spaces and details and do not establish the history, approval status or performance of a restoration project.

External links

Links are provided for further reading. We do not control external websites or guarantee their availability, accuracy or privacy practices. Assess external information in its own context before relying on it.

Liability and legal rights

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses arising from treating general editorial information as building-specific advice or from decisions made without appropriate assessment. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

Applicable law and changes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory protections that apply where you live. Any court arrangements remain subject to those protections. We may revise these terms as the website changes; the version displayed here applies to your current use.
